friday night..3rd nov '06
let jst say that this has probably been the highlight of the year
all of us all dressed up at the grand hyat
trinity college's annual ball
after school..it was a frantic rush
all the way to melbourne central
to get a corsage and flowers fr my date
then i met up with kevin..who brought yana to prom
went back to my place
got ready
made sure that we had everything packed
then we went to jacq and yana's place
met mark on the way at lygon park
with his kung-fu outfit..i think it was kinda cool
and then..we waited downstairs..fr quite a while..
girls being girls..they took an awefully long time to get ready
then we heard them coming down..
and call my bias..
but i think i had the hottest date that night :)
gave jacq her flowers and corsage
[hope you liked them] :)
and the weird thing was that we all had to go upstairs again
to dump all our stuff
because we were going back there after prom
then we walked to swanston to get onto our ride to prom
and guess how we went??
in a CARRIAGE!! how cool is that?!?! :)
it was so weird
a few of our friends did the same thing too
so it was kinda weird bumping into all of them on the way
it was like nascar racing..just on horses..
..with people in suits and dresses in a carriage
..and no stadium..
ok ok fine..so it wasnt like nascar..
but ANYWAY..
we arrived there and there were TONS of ppl
[i could barely recognize some of them]
we went up to the ballroom
and prom began
we took TONS of pictures..
we took so many that if that myth that
the flash of a camera 'steals' your soul were true..
i'd be long dead..
[i just realised i typed that 3 times among 5 words]
[random fact]
there was dancing..no slow dance though :(
[anti-climax]
but its was quite fun..
me, mikey, syafik, nada were trying some boy band dance
kinda gay..but i have to say it was fun
after the event was over..
the bunch of us went to crown plaza for CHEESECAKE!!
mmmMMMmmm..so good..so good..
blue berry cheesecake..mmmMMMmmm..
oh..random fact
i downloaded a happy tree friends game on my phone
and lets just say that mark and allynna
got stuck onto the game here and couldnt stop playing it
sadistic people =_=::
and mark got the higest score within that night itself!!
after we were done..
me, jacq, kevin and yana took a cab to nelsons
its so weird that all of us had our bags there..
like going fr a holiday or moving in or something..
we all crashed in the common room
slept for a bit while jacq listened to her classical music
at about 5ish..me, jacq, yana and kevin went to the roof
we wanted to watch the sunrise..
but then there was a large amount of water vapour in the air
i.e. there were too many clouds
so we just waited..and waited..and waited
while waiting we saw hot air balloons too
5 of them!! so cool!!
[like jakun only]
then we decided that the sun wasnt going to come up
but on the way down..
we started to see the rays..
came back up and waited again..
decided it wasnt going to come up..
went down..
saw MORE rays..
and this happened 3 times..can you imagine?!?!
then we FINALLY saw the sun
it was N I C E :)
went downstairs..
had ice-cream and toast fr breakfast..
slept again [such pigs]
and then we woke up at about 11..
and can you imagine?!?!
jacq went for chem support class at 12?!?!
[no wonder she's so smart] =_=::
after that we all went home all living on 3 hours of sleep
[except for mark who k.o.'d since we arrived]
ahh..
this will officially go down as one of the best moments ever
and thanx for being my date jacq :)
and for the trimmings
first time i got trimmings too :p
